CWAY Company management at the end of each year usually sets aside a particular day to reward performance and celebrate with all staff. This year’s celebration was unique and spectacular at CWAY Water lagos subsidiary as virtually all staff came together in a party atmosphere on the 10th of December 2017 at the Company’s Head Office to party and reward outstanding staff in 2017. All in attendance got themselves treated with sumptuous meals, drinks and exciting dance steps.
The company’s General Manager Mr Sean opened the party with a speech of appreciation to all staff particularly those who distinguished themselves with outstanding records of performance and assured them of rewarding gifts and recognition for long service awards . Finally, he reminded all as he did introduced the new …’ON THE GO’..(75cl)Table Water as another ‘milestone’ for the company with the slogan “another brand water to trust from CWAY!” So also, the company’s Human Resource Director Mrs Mary Uzozie who anchored all activities which included ladies head tie gear competition, raffle draws, couples dance competition and others thus, all as fun trilled efforts towards giving back to the company’s staff as they all got entertained.

A fresh couple on the 2nd of December 2017 in Abeokuta Ogun state celebrated their wedding with CWAY Ultra Table Water. At the wedding occasion ,where Mr Latin a popular Nigerian veteran home video actor and the current Chairman of TAMPAN presented the couple with CWAY Water Dispenser and called the couple to a toast with CWAY Ultra Table Water. CWAY NIGERIA RECEIVES CHINESE OVERSEA DELEGATION IN CHARGE OF ECONOMIC AND LEGAL AFFAIRS ON THE 18TH OCTOBER 2017.
Mr. Zuo Zhiqiang, the Chinese Secretary of Economic and Technology Department of the State Council of Overseas Affairs, led the delegation from China to Zimbabwe in Africa before coming to Nigeria. The other members of the delegation include Mr. Xugang Yu, an international acclaimed legal practitioner, Mr.Chris Wang, Vice chairman of New Hope Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Ni Mengxiao, the president of China Business and Trade Association, and Mr. Li Qiang, the secretary general of China Business . All were received at CWAY Nigeria, Isolo Head Office in Lagos on 18th of October 2017 by CWAY’s Deputy Chief Admin. Officer Mr.Richard Zhou , the Deputy General Manager of CWAY Nig. Lagos Water company Mr.Garry Chen and other management staff.
Indeed, the delegation’s visit to Nigeria was to establish the current level of growth in top three reputable Chinese investments and of which CWAY Company demonstrated an amazing discovery experience on the delegates after a facility tours as being the youngest fast growing Chinese investment in Nigeria with strategic industrial growth plans in comparison to others.
The visit rounded up same day with a joint session where conscious emphasis was made on the need for all Chinese investments abroad to demonstrate the expected international practice platform of “One belt, One road”, and participate in international trade without litigation thus, taking good advantage of Nigerian laws and regulations and grow investments rapidly with particular reference to the successful Chinese’s reform experience of fast industrial growth and strategic developments in all host communities.

CWAY Group Nigeria carried out again a consistent company culture of CSR activities to host communities in September 2017. The first financial support was to SMALL WORLD –the International Women’s Organization for Charity. The other CSR donations were made to Children’s’ homes along with company’s products and financial supports to mark Nigeria’s 57th Independent Anniversary Celebrations.

14th of July 2017, at Oriental Hotel, an anniversary ceremony took place with a lot of guest who graced the occasion. Mr Richard representing CWAY group in China town Lagos on 9th August 2017 , presented a cheque worth N3million as a CSR support to Mr. Ni Mengxiao , the Executive Vice Chairman of the Oversea Chinese Service Centre in Lagos . This CSR support was meant to aid Chinese and families who suffered casualties or work related hazards to get assisted back to sound health in Nigeria.
CWAY’S CHILDREN’S DAY PARTY ACTIVITIES AND DONATIONS TO CHILDREN’S HOMES.

May 27 is traditionally the Children’s holiday in Nigeria. First established by the United Nations in 1964, the day remains important in the lives of many Nigerian kids. Children’s Day is an event celebrated in many places around the world. The holiday is simply set to honor children and minors.
As part of the activities marking the 2017 children’s day celebration in Nigeria CWAY Food and Beverages Nigeria Company Limited, Ota Ogun State made support donations of funds and company’s products to Ijamido Childrens Home and in addition, organized a children’s day party for other Children within the host communities.
Similarly, CWAY Water Company Lagos also made Children’s Day support donations of funds and company’s products to SOS Children’s Villages Isolo Lagos.

CWAY’S CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY SUPPORT TO TWO HOST COMMUNITIES
CWAY Nigeria Drinking Water Science & Technology Company Ltd on April 5th, 2017, paid courtesy call to SOS Children’s village, Isolo, Lagos to flag off a donation of products and cash to run for one year as part of its CSR project. The company’s General Manager Mr. Sean Fang who led the team, expressed delight and fulfillment at the reception by management of SOS children’s Village. He stated that CWAY as a responsible company in Nigeria will continue to engage in Corporate Social Responsibility Projects to its host communities by continually ensuring that it partakes in building its host communities. In response , the National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria, Mr. Eghosa .A Erhumwunse commended the Management of CWAY CSR gestures which consisted of cash and product donations, would go a long way in meeting the children’s care needs.
Similarly, on March 22nd 2017, CWAY Food and Beverages Nigeria Limited a subsidiary of CWAY Group also visited Ijamido Children’s Home in Ota Ogun State where the children of the home were showered with love as the company commenced a 12 month support donation of its products and Cash.
This CSR project embarked upon is in line with company’s vision and mission to ensure that all CSR supports to host communities are far reaching and meaningful towards improved welfare schemes. Speaking on behalf the company at the flag off donation event, Mr. Tony Ojumoola (Deputy Group Admin Director) and other staff, reiterated company’s commitment to monthly donations to the Home would go a long way in supporting the needs of the children’s home. He also urged the children to be obedient, hardworking and be of good character in order to reach their goals in life.
Dr (Mrs.) Victoria Obakoya the head of management at the children’s home received the delegation from CWAY management with her children numbering over hundred all of whom expressed great joy and appreciation to CWAY Food and Beverages for the donations.

World water day is a day set aside since 1993, by the United Nations to promote the need for provision of fresh water globally and to encourage more research into its sustenance going forward.
CWAY partnered with Lagos state water regulatory commission (LSWRC) and other stakeholders to celebrate this years World water day on Wednesday, 22nd March, 2017. It was an eventful day with activities ranging form water related exhibitions, presentations and B2B interactions along the value chain. Lagos State Governor through his representative and other leading political and social personalities were in attendance to witness the day and encourage stakeholders within the water sector to keep up the good work. CWAY also made presentations as a leading light in the sector and presented gifts to winners of the school quiz organised at the event.
WORLD WATER DAY 2017 EVENT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LAGOS STATE WATER REGULATORY COMMISSION
November, 2016, CWAY partnered with Heritage Bank and Lagos State Sports Commission to organize a State wide secondary schools track and field sports fiesta tagged ‘’SKOOLIMPICS’’.
CWAY water as a brand enjoyed a good brand display both on and off pitch as many participants had the opportunity to access CWAY table water in a unique brand package and thus, met the sporting needs of all athletes everywhere on the pitch. Also, in consonants to CWAY’s usual CSR supports, CWAY supported SKOOLIMPICS with over 30,000 free table water all made available to athletes for the 6 days event which pulled a participants’ crowd of over 35,000 students.
Dignitaries at this event included the Sports Minister, Comrade Solomon Dalong, Lagos State sports Commission Chairman, Mr Deji Tinubu . The Nigeria’s Queen of tracks and onetime Olympics Champion, Mary Onyali, notable celebrities, political players and social influencers all as guest to witness the event.
The collective idea of initiating ‘Skoolimpics’ was indeed an opportunity to give back to the society by helping to develop youth talents hunts and impacting values of sportsmanship to the next generation positively via sports.

Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission Chairman visits Lagos Water Factories
An outstanding milestone recently was recorded again as part of the achievements of CWAY Nigeria water company following the certification and endorsement visit to her water treatment plants by the Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Mallam Kabir Ahmed, who led other members of the commission, commended CWAY water for complying with laid down rules of the commission. The delegation’s visit was a follow up to CWAY fulfilling the regulatory body’s registration requirements as newly required by The Lagos state Water Regulatory Commission (LSWRC).
In remarks made by the executive Secretary “We are Comfortable with what we saw; we visited the boreholes, treatment plant and other production facilities”. The Executive Secretary further used the opportunity to re-emphasize that there were no issues of quality or safety with the commission as CWAY’s standards are not in doubt, rather, ‘’There were payments for regulatory provisions for water extraction, for licensing and for permits which they have complied with.’’ The delegation visited CWAY factories and commended the company for adhering to international standards and urged other companies to emulate CWAY in terms of quality and standards.
Responding, CWAY Group Brand Communications Director, Mr. Auscar Ikoro, expressed appreciations to the Executive Secretary and his team while reiterating that ‘’CWAY is a hi tech world class model, a responsive and focused company on quality and high operational standards. He further reassured the public, that ‘’CWAY is one of the top quality water brand acceptable nationwide. On the last note, secretary to the commission affirmed that the commission though still relatively new but appealed for all company’s collaborations towards water quality and meeting set compliments’ that will assure all Nigerians drink only healthy water as that of CWAY Water.

CWAY Table water supports Nigerian Football Federation
The 2016 edition of the Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Mini Tournament which kicked-off Saturday, 3rd of December at the Onikan Stadium Lagos recorded success with the support of CWAY Table Water. Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi the chairman of the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) and 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirms that, the idea of the tournament was to raise funds for the various charity works.
